        Mae Thongtham Chili Paste is a homemade product that is made from a traditional recipe but by the new generation who is determined to preserve and pass down the recipe from the previous generation. Raw materials used are fish or shrimp meat in order to maximize the meat texture. Presently, there are 8 types of chili paste being produced and sold including chili paste with shrimp, chili paste with mackerel fish, chili paste with snakehead fish and horseshoe crab, chili paste with gourami fish, chili paste with gourami fish and horseshoe crab, and stir fried herbal fermented fish chili paste. Additionally, to promote chili paste to be accepted by new generations of consumers, salmon chili paste was produced by importing salmon from abroad. Mae Thong Kham chili paste emphasizes their product quality, which is freshly produced every day as well as produced in accordance with the principles of Halal food that Muslims can consume. The production process includes stirring all ingredients together, mixing with herbs, marinating with other ingredients such as chili, salt, onion, garlic, vegetable oil, etc. without adding MSG and preservatives. The products are packed in airtight bottles and jars which can be stored at room temperature for 3 months and stored in the refrigerator for 6 months.
