Our community is reputed to be the origin of Korat Noodle. In the past, almost every household of the villages made noodle as a career and sold in different markets popularly to the general public. This is the story of Korat Noodle where middlemen came to buy directly from home village for resell. But in the latter time, the middleman discontinued their business coupled with higher production costs while also the more setting up industrial-base production for Korat Noodle, many villagers start discontinuing making Korat Noodle. This will not inherit its knowhow and wisdom to next generation. Until currently, Suranaree University of Technology students together with the subdistrict municipality and the villagers with of Kutjit to recover to revive the ancient Korat Noodle once again. The stir fried noodles with Korat is an instant Food Souvenirs of Yamo province made from real rice flour original recipe.  It is one of excellent OTOP products of Sung Nern with delicious taste.
