C07-Ponethong Community Marketing Center.    About 2005-2008, Mae Jo University (Chiang Mai) and Chum Phae Rice Research Center together with the Department of Rice, Ministry of Agriculture surveyed and selected the area of villages Moo 3,4,9,10,11 of PoneThong sub-district for growing jasmine 105 rice in many varieties and cultivating and shipping to Singapore.  The project lasted for 3 years.  At the end of the project, the president of the Ponethong Community Marketing Center realized the importance of the project which benefits the people here. They improved production including improving soil by eliminating toxins and adding value to rice.  Non-toxic rice processing is a foresight of the group for future. Therefore by connecting to the network and coordinating for the said project they use non-toxic jasmine rice to process the value-added product. With this origin the concept, the production of Germinated brown rice, miraculous brewed powder with Red Naga brand. We have many types of rice used such as brown rice, Sangyod rice, germinated jasmine rice etc. The coffee brewed rice powder is another product that is currently under development and will be achieve to produced soon.
